Test driven development roadmap

At DrupalCon Barcelona about 20 people gathered together for the Quality Assurance Birds of a Feather session. This allowed us to develop a road map for automated testing and test driven development for the Drupal project. Please review the diagram to see what we discussed and view the checkmarks on the diagram to review the work we have achieved in the 2 months since that diagram was first produced.

Drupal Testbed is an automated system for testing patches submitted to the Drupal.org issue queue and ensuring their overall quality. It uses lint, simpletest, and various other methods to ensure submitted patches apply smoothly, and run properly. Drupal Testbed "weeds" out bad patches, and allows the volunteer testers to focus their time on quality testing, and not just testing if it works.
